Jaskamal is a Radio Host and News Reporter at My Radio 580 AM. She developed her coding skills with a graduation in Computer Sciences and then went on to obtain her Masters of Arts in English Literature in India. She then pursued her passion for teaching and worked as an Assistant Professor at Lyallpur Khalsa College. She has always been an active participant in debates and extracurricular activities. After moving to Canada she tuned into My Radio 580 AM as a listener one day, it was then that she realized that this country was built on beautiful stories of immigrant heritage. She realized how the world of broadcasting can touch people’s lives and decided to pursue it as a career. You can tune in to listen to Jaskamal’s ‘Home Run Show’ from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM Monday to Friday. ‘Dil Khol K Bol’ on Monday’s from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM. Sunday Special Shows from 12:00 – 2:00 PM and 4:00 – 6:00 PM. When not in the studio you can find her hiking the trails in and around Edmonton.
