Stella Mathews

Anu Stella Mathews, is the Malayalam host at my radio 580. She hosts the program “My Malayalam with Stella” “എന്റെ മലയാളം സ്റ്റെല്ലയ്ക്കൊപ്പം” aired every Sunday from 6-7PM. Malayalam is the language spoken in the southern most state of India named Kerala. Stella obtained her masters from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala and PhD in Chemical Sciences and Engineering from Pusan National University, South Korea. After her successful career over 10 years as researcher at National Institute for Nano Techonology (NINT), University of Alberta, Edmonton she now spends her time as instructor at University Transfer Program at Portage College as well as in self business as Instructor at KUMON Griesbach. Stella appreciates every effort by My radio 580 team to contribute back to the Canadian multicultural vibrant society and she is excited to be a part of it. She considers this as an opportunity to celebrate her well cherished roots through music, communicate and inspire the Malayalee community in Alberta. She strongly believes that this can motivate not only  the present generation but also the future generation to be well versed and proud about their Kerala roots  which can enhance their involvement and contribution as Canadian citizens.
